Lisa Anderson – HR Advisor
I have come from an education background, teaching Business Studies and Economics to senior high-school students in two of New Zealand’s best schools, within the Cambridge International Examination system. I have also very nearly completed my MBA (Master of Business Administration), studying at AUT University, where I have been working my way through a double specialisation in Human Resources Management and Operations Management. I am well on track to gain my degree with Distinction and am due to complete this in February 2012. At this time I am definitely looking forward to getting my evenings and weekends back! I have also been a part owner in service-based company, taking this start-up through rapid growth to become a successful firm, employing several staff. At this time the company was sold as a going concern and is still thriving today. When partnering with SME owners to help improve business performance and employee engagement, I have a firsthand understanding of the myriad of issues they face. In my own time, I love to go mountain biking with my husband Dan.
